Hello everyone. I wanted to share a recent presentation and abstract that was presented at the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons meeting. The study’s senior author and surgeon is Martin Roche, MD. He and his team assessed the outcome of robotic assisted medial unicompartmental arthroplasties with a mean of 10 years of follow up. They found that the 10 year survival of the implants was 98%. In addition, 97% of the patients were either satisfied or very satisfied with their outcome.

These results are amazing! Even total knee replacements at 10 years have not been shown to have these outcomes. The MAKO robotic assisted knee replacements are “game changers”. Please see more about robotic assisted knee replacements on this website. If you want more information or want to know if you are a candidate, please contact us or schedule a consultation visit.
